We are currently looking to recruit Light Vehicle Driver cum Helper for our Electronics Division.
The primary focus
of the role will be to drive company vehicles to deliver and/or render
service and installation of products to the customer. He will also help
out in loading and unloading of items from the vehicle and if necessary
in rendering service and installation works.
The main duties within the role include the following:
- Drive the vehicle to deliver the items to the customer’s place
- Load and unload electronics items to be delivered to customers
- Provide assistance to service technicians by carrying items, tools and other equipment to work site, assisting them in service and installation of products and contribute to early or speedy completion of works.
- Conducts daily routine maintenance checks (oil, water, lights, tyre pressure, etc.) and ensure care and defensive driving to avoid delays in the delivery of products and service to customers
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Driving light vehicles including light delivery vehicles of not less than 5 years, 2 years of which within the Gulf
- Should read and write English
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor repairs is preferable
- Holder of valid Gulf driving license
Qualifications: Secondary School graduate
